Privacy Policy

Last updated June 26, 2026

The short version: Groovy Ape doesn't track you, doesn't sell data, and doesn't want your playlists. Skylark stores your data on your devices and syncs it through your own iCloud — not our servers.

Who we are

This policy applies to the website groovyape.com and to Skylark, an app published by Groovy Ape, LLC ("we", "us"). If you have questions, email [email protected].

Your playlists and viewing data

Skylark is a player for media sources you provide. Your playlists, credentials, favorites, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, this data syncs across your own Apple devices through Apple's iCloud service under your Apple ID. We never receive, store, or have access to it, and we do not log what you watch.

Information we do collect

We keep this to a minimum:

No tracking or advertising

Skylark contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, or data brokers. We don't build profiles, and we don't sell or share personal information.

Third-party sources

When you connect a playlist, Skylark communicates directly with the provider you configured to fetch streams and guide data. Those providers have their own privacy practices that we don't control. Skylark is not affiliated with any content provider.

Your choices

You can delete locally stored data at any time within the app or by removing it. To request deletion of any email we hold, just write to [email protected].

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above. Material changes will be noted here.
